Equisetum arvense extract is a low-ash Equisetum arvense extract. The preparation process includes material preparation, alcohol extraction, concentration, sedimentation, batching, and spray drying.

Specifically, the raw materials need to be chopped or crushed into broken sections, and then extracted with 40-80% aqueous ethanol solution. The extraction temperature is 70–90 °C, and the extraction time is 2 hours. The extract is then concentrated under vacuum. A calcium hydroxide [Ca(OH)₂] solution equivalent to 0.1 times the concentrate volume is added with stirring, followed by sedimentation for 12–36 hours. and the supernatant is taken and filtered. Finally, add maltodextrin to the filtrate and mix it evenly, then spray dry, crush, pass through an 80-200 mesh sieve, pack, and store.
