Happy Thanksgiving Day

Thanksgiving Day, the Western traditional holiday, is a holiday created by the American. It is also a holiday for Americans to get together. In 1941, the U.S. Congress officially designated the fourth Thursday of November as Thanksgiving Day.

On this day, the United States has the habit of eating roast turkey, pumpkin pie, cranberry jelly, sweet potato, corn and so on. Activities include cranberry races, corn games, pumpkin races. Group events such as masquerade parades, theatrical performances or sports competitions are held. And there are corresponding holidays when people who are far away return home to be with their family members. Nowadays, there are also customs such as Turkey exemptions and Black Friday shopping.

In the United States, like the Spring Festival in China, millions of people get together with their families on Thanksgiving Day.
